TCI AND TNB IT SIGNING MOU
Bandar Baru Bangi – On October 2nd, 2018, Managing Director of TCI, Tn. Hj Amir Mahmod and TNB IT, En. Zulkifli have signed a Memorandum of Undertaking (MoU) to provide greater opportunities for cooperation in areas involving fiber optics and hybrid power development. According to Tn. Hj Amir, TCI’s aspirations are as a global leader in energy and cable-related fields. Accordingly, the business transformation that has begun since 2016 is aimed at enhancing “winning strategy and co-creation” with business partners like TNB-IT. TCI also not only looks at cable and fiber but also explores other opportunities in various related fields.
According to En. Zulkifli, hopefully, cooperation between TCI and TNB-IT will create a value chain that will appeal to consumers. This is important because it is the user who will determine the position of TNB IT and TCI in the market. TNB’s top management representative, Tn. Haji Fadzil Ibrahim, congratulated him for the sake of Tenaga Nasional Berhad to see growth in other business branches including telecommunications. I am very proud today to witness the two TNB subsidiaries that will collaborate in driving this aspiration.
